GenFast GypTec Fasteners | Insulation

GenFast^™ GypTec Fasteners are glass-filled nylon auger-type fasteners with a 1″ (25.4 mm) head, engineered to secure GenFlex insulation, base sheets, and selected roof components into cementitious wood fiber or gypsum decks. These fasteners are not intended for in-seam attachment of single-ply membranes.
Featuring a wide buttress thread design for exceptional pull-out resistance, the GypTec Fastener includes locking tabs that secure the plate to the fastener head and an internal ¼” (6.4 mm) square drive for fast, easy installation. The fastener is designed to thread securely into the substrate without penetrating the underside of the deck. Used with 3″ (76.2 mm) steel insulation plates and 2″ (50.8 mm) seam plates, the GenFast GypTec Fastener is Factory Mutual (FM) Approved and available in lengths from 2½” to 12″ (63.5 mm to 304.8 mm).
